Description
The Parihar Jhumki (“Royal Protector’s Bells” in Sanskrit) draws from Rajput royalty and warrior traditions of the medieval period (8th–16th centuries). Traditionally worn by royal women and court dancers during ceremonies, these temple style jhumkis feature coral beads, lustrous cream and white pearls, and aventurine stones set in gold-toned metalwork, creating a rich color palette that exemplifies traditional Indian jewelry craftsmanship.
